3. Delete your browsing data

You can delete the search data Google has stored for you by clicking the three dots on the top right hand side of the window and selecting “Delete options”. It gives you the immediate option to delete data from “Today” and “Yesterday”. If you click “Advanced” it then lets you delete information from the last four weeks or “All time”.

4. Google knows where you’ve been

If you click the three dots in the top right hand corner of the window and select “Settings” then “Show more controls” you can “Manage Activity” under the “Places you Go” tab. If you don’t have location services turned off this will show you a map of all of the places where you have used your mobile device. This is part of Google’s Timeline, which it launched last year.

5. See how old Google thinks you are

If you scroll to the bottom of the “Activity controls” page and select “Ads” you can see the profile Google has for you, including a rough age range, your gender, and your interests. If you don’t agree with the profile Google has created for you, then you can change it to make it more (or less) accurate. This affects the adverts you’ll see across Alphabet products.

Bill Gates is once again the Richest person on Earth.

Jeff Bezos was the richest man in the world for 12 hours on Wednesday, with a fortune of over $90 billion.

According to Forbes and Bloomberg, the Amazon CEO had a net worth of over $89 billion as of the close of markets Wednesday, while Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates had a net worth of just over $90 billion.

Even if Bezos didn’t end the day as the richest man, he will likely take the crown from Gates more permanently in the coming days and weeks.

When he hits the mark, Bezos, who started selling books from his garage 22 years ago, becomes the first man to bump Gates from his perch in seven years and is only the sixth man to hold the “richest person” title in the past 30 years, according to Forbes.

How to protect your Android phone better with Play Protect.

What is Google Play Protect?

Google Play Protect is a feature that is, essentially, an evolution of the company’s “Verify Apps” service that was rolled out to Android many years ago. The feature, which will be enabled by default on all Android devices, is meant to be a real-time malware scanner that will scan every installed or about-to-be installed app and inform users in case there’s something amiss. The search giant had announced Google Play Protect back at the Google I/O developer conference last May, but has only started rolling it out internationally this week to all Android devices running Google Play Services 11 or later.

How To Enable or Disable Google Play Protect On Your Android Device

As mentioned earlier, Google Play Protect has already started rolling out to devices with Google Play Services (version 11 and above), and it will also be turned on by default, meaning all the installed apps on your device will be frequently scanned for malware by the service. However, if you don’t want automatic scanning of your devices, you can disable Google Play Protect on your device by following a few simple steps. However, unless you really know what you’re doing, it is advisable that you keep it on for your and your device’s safety. You can find the option to enable or disable Google Play Protect in the same Settings -> Google -> Security -> Google Play Protect page, where you will find options “Scan device for security threats” and “Improve harmful app detection“.

While the first option is enabled by default, you can enable the second option if you want to make sure that the apps you installed via third party sources are scanned for malware.
Google Play Protect is designed to scan for malware on the Google Play Store and on your device, but not on third-party websites and app stores that host Android apps. However, the service will still alert you if you were to install an app from a different app store that Google deems dangerous. You can check for the status of your installed apps by going over to the Google Play Protect option in the manner described above. There, you’ll get to see when the last scan was performed on your device, and you’ll also find a list of potentially-harmful apps, should your device happen to have any.

Remember you can only use Play Protect if you have a version 11 or higher of Google Play Services.

These Countries are ready to help India if China Decides to Attack on India.

It is true that things between India and China has now been boiling, since a long time. Indians indeed, have to worry about the war because of the consequences, previously. To be honest, China might not dare to fight India, though it has a good army of soldiers as well as huge amount of military weapons. Now the question arises, “why?”.

Attacking India might not be the best option for China because of the huge market it has in India. Majority of Chinese products are exported to India by them which earn them a large amount of money. Narendra Modi’s “make in India” and Donald Trump’s first American slogan has killed the market to a large extent. If China attacks India, the market would go even lower and the profit it was making, would never be the same.

On the other hand, if in case China attacks India, these four countries will be there by India’s side.

  • Japan
  • USA
  • Australia

The United States of America hence, will definitely have our back and on the other hand, they have also assured that they would take the help of Japan if the war arises. Besides that, they said that if China wants to take any action against India or the Indian Ocean, it would not be good for them.

Rajput Communities denied to cremate Anandpal Singh’s body

Several Rajput community organizations have warned the government for agitation if the state government cremated the body of Anandpal Singh who was killed in a police encounter four few days ago. A police team tried to put up a notice warning the family members to take the body from the mortuary of a government hospital. The notice said that if the family members didn’t accept the body, the police will cremate it.

Family members and community leaders however remained adamant over their demand for CBI probe into the police encounter. They claimed that the encounter was fake and Ananpal was killed even when he was willing to surrender before the police.

The demand for a CBI probe is being raised by various Rajput organizations including Sri Pratap Foundation, Rajput Sabha, and Sri Rajput Karani Sena.

The community leaders said that it was necessary to conduct a CBI probe to maintain social harmony.

A police team that had gone to Anandpal’s house in Sanwrad village in Nagaur district to post the notice had to face resistance from the family members and villagers. The team somehow managed to serve the notice by pasting it on the wall, but the villagers removed it immediately.

The mass agitation continues as the police killed Anandpal even after he was willing to surrender.

An Earth Like planet Has Water on It’s surface….. and its 4.2 light years away.

An ‘Earth-like’ planet orbiting our closest neighbouring star, Proxima Centauri, about 4.2 light years away may have liquid water and the potential to support alien life, a new study has found.

The planet kepler-186 f was discovered in August last year, and is thought to be of similar size to Earth, creating the possibility that it could have an ‘Earth-like’ atmosphere.

Scientists from the University of Exeter in the UK have embarked on their first, tentative steps to explore the potential climate of the exoplanet.

Early studies have suggested that the planet is in the habitable zone of its star Proxima Centauri — the region where, given an Earth-like atmosphere and suitable structure, it would receive the right amount of light to sustain liquid water on its surface.

Now, experts have undertaken new research to explore the potential climate of the planet, towards the longer term goal of revealing whether it has the potential to support life.

Researchers simulated the climate of Proxima B if it were to have a similar atmospheric composition to our own Earth.

The team also explored a much simpler atmosphere, comprising of nitrogen with traces of carbon dioxide, as well as variations of the planets orbit. This allowed them to both compare with, and extend beyond, previous studies.

The results showed that Proxima B could have the potential to be habitable, and could exist in a remarkably stable climate regime.

However, much more work must be done to truly understand whether this planet can support, or indeed does support life of some form, researchers said.

“Our research team looked at a number of different scenarios for the planet’s likely orbital configuration using a set of simulations,” said Ian Boutle, lead author of the study published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.

“One of the main features that distinguishes this planet from Earth is that the light from its star is mostly in the near infra-red,” said James Manners, from University of Exeter.

“These frequencies of light interact much more strongly with water vapour and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which affects the climate that emerges in our model,” said Manners.

Researchers also found different even with configurations regions of the planet are able to host liquid water.

Scientists Identify 50-Foot Creature That Washed Up On An Indonesian Beach

iant sea creature, possibly with tusks, washed up on a beach in Indonesia last week, freaking out people on the island of Seram and launching a global guessing game to determine what, exactly, it used to be.

As images of the floating carcass rocketed around the internet, the scientific community asked itself: What is it? How did it get to an Indonesian island? And what does its presence say about climate change and whale migration habits?

The people of Seram have a more pressing query: How do we get rid of it?

Asrul Tuanakota, a 37-year-old fisherman, initially thought he had discovered a boat stranded in shallow water, according to the Jakarta Globe. On closer inspection, he determined that it was the rotting corpse of a 50-foot-long dead sea creature – possibly a giant squid because the remains looked like tentacles.

Blood seeping from the dead sea beast had turned the water near the coastline a bright red, which didn’t stop locals from wading in for a closer look and snapping pictures.

George Leonard, the chief scientist at the Ocean Conservancy, told the Huffington Post that the rotting carcass was probably a baleen whale, judging by parts of a protruding skeleton and what appear to be baleen plates used to filter out food.

Decomposition gases bloated the whale into a very un-whale-like shape, and some of the noxious gases were seeping out.

Seram, the largest island in the Maluku Island group, is near the migration routes for baleen whales, so it makes sense that one would be nearby. Locals have asked the government to help remove the carcass, the Huffington Post reported.

But dead whales usually sink to the bottom of the ocean, providing a years-long buffet for the creatures that dwell there, according to Live Science. The publication theorized that the whale had a bacterial infection that produced more gases or that it possibly died in warm waters, allowing bacteria to accumulate and gases to expand its body. It also could have died an unnatural death after being clipped by a ship.

Of course, things die in the ocean all the time producing all kinds of weird phenomena. But now fishermen and villages and tourists – and their smartphones – are coming into contact with dead sea things as they go through the circle of life.

For example, fishermen off the western coast of Australia found a humongous, floating balloon of flesh that looked as if it was the first sign of an alien invasion. At first, the father and son thought they had encountered a hot-air balloon.

“When we got closer we realized it had to be a dead whale because of the smell,” Mark Watkins told the West Australian.

They snapped photos of the whale balloon, then headed to shore. By then, they said, circling sharks had taken bites of the dead creature, causing it to deflate.

And earlier this year, a giant, hairy sea creature washed up on a beach in the Philippines, according to the Daily Mail. Locals believe the unusual occurrence was brought on by a recent earthquake.

Pictures showed people climbing on top of the carcass to take selfies.

NASA’s New Horizons has travelled half the distance from Pluto

Continuing on its path through the outer regions of the solar system, NASAs New Horizons spacecraft has now travelled half the distance from Pluto.

It is heading towards its next target – 2014 MU69 – which is the Kuiper Belt object (KBO) and the probe will fly past it on January 1, 2019, NASA said in a statement late on Monday.
The spacecraft was 782.45 million kms beyond Pluto and the same distance from MU69.

“It’s fantastic to have completed half the journey to our next flyby; that flyby will set the record for the most distant world ever explored in the history of civilization,” said Alan Stern, New Horizons principal investigator from the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado.

New Horizons will begin a new period of hibernation later this week.

In fact, the spacecraft will be sleeping through the April 7 halfway timing marker to MU69 because mission operators at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Maryland will have put the spacecraft into hibernation two hours beforehand.

In addition to its historic Pluto encounter and 16 subsequent months of relaying the data from that encounter back to Earth, New Horizons has made breakthrough, distant observations of a dozen Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs).

It has collected unique data on the dust and charged-particle environment of the Kuiper Belt and studied the hydrogen gas that permeates the vast space surrounding the Sun, called the heliosphere.

“The January 2019 MU69 flyby is the next big event for us, but New Horizons is truly a mission to more broadly explore the Kuiper Belt,” said Hal Weaver, New Horizons project scientist from APL.

“In addition to MU69, we plan to study more than two-dozen other KBOs in the distance and measure the charged particle and dust environment all the way across the Kuiper Belt,” Weaver added.

New Horizons is currently 5.7 billion kms from Earth. At that distance, a radio signal sent from the operations team – and travelling at light speed – needs about five hours and 20 minutes to reach the spacecraft.
